Banksman

Almost a quarter of all deaths involving at-work driving happen when the vehicle is reversing. Most of these incidents could be prevented by a trained banksman.

This course is for any person who may be assisting goods vehicles that are reversing and manoeuvring in yards or depots. The course covers:

• HSE HSG136 Standard transport industry code of signals
• Recognising danger areas on site
• Considerations for both rigid and articulated vehicles
• Practical training in controlling goods vehicles
